Accessing Your Email via DirectAdmin
Manage your email accounts through the DirectAdmin control panel provided with your hosting plan.
- Log in to DirectAdmin at
https://yourdomain.com:2222(replace yourdomain.com with your domain). - Go to the Email Accounts section.
- Create, modify, or delete email accounts associated with your domain.
Setting Up Email Clients
To access your email from applications like Outlook, Thunderbird, or mobile devices, use the following settings:
- Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.com
- Incoming Port (IMAP): 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing Port (SMTP): 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
- Use your full email address and password for authentication.
Webmail Access
Access your email via webmail at:
- https://webmail.yourdomain.com
- Log in using your full email address and password.
Troubleshooting Common Email Issues
- Can't send or receive emails: Check your username/password and email client settings.
- Email bouncing: Verify your DNS MX records point to Valor Node mail servers.
- Spam filtering: Ensure your emails comply with best practices to avoid spam flags.
